Back to work.......

Today was my first real day back to work. Yesterday i had to be in the building, but i wasn't really working and there were no student. But today.....ugh. I had students. Don't get me wrong; i like some of my students. i recieved three more students in a class which has discipline problems already. That class now had a total of 25, and they all desire and need attention, good or bad. Getting up at 4:30 just isn't as great as i once thought. i'm exhausted. My feet hurt (i've been wearing tennis shoes for the past 2 weeks). i'm ready to go home and go to sleep. YEAH!

I had a fantastic Christmas! I spent time laughing and wrestling with my family Christmas Eve and Christmas day. I have a new 8 year old cousin (inherited through marriage), it was his desire to kill me while we celebrated. He wanted to wrestle. I did not. That did not stop him. For a good hour, he was grabbing at me neck trying to get me pinned. He even revealed my navel piercing to my extended family. I've hid it for 4 years!
I returned to Illinois to spend time with friends for New Years. We went to a bar, drank, and laughed. It was uneventful yet fun. Here are a few picts of New Years Eve.
