valentines day

Finally 3 days after valentines day, i'm emotionally prepared to share my story. I've been dating this man, boy for 10 months. Throughout the relationship he would surprise me by bringing me coffee in the middle of the day, driving 2 hours to surprise me after 6 months, and driving 3 hours to support me at my first volleyball game. Even though he had been pessimistic about valentines day, i assumed that i would be surprised. However, nothing came, no surprise, no card, no delivery, NOTHING. I was a little disappointed, and we had words. He tried to comfort me by telling me how he "believed in valentines day" and he has "always done something." But not this year, not this girl. I was no longer disappointed, but mad. I'm pissed. A little thought could have gone a long way. I would have accepted and happy with a card. Learn from his mistake. Celebrate valentines day.

This past weekend, i went shopping with my friend carleigh. we had a blasty. we went up to woodfield mall and spent HOURS browsing and buying. Let me rephrase that, she bought; i browsed. i ordered the most beautiful dress! i have a wedding to go to in march and june with christopher's friends. even though i have outfits that would have been good enough, i wanted to wow. hence, the shopping trip. i've had my eye on this dress for the past few weeks, and i'm so excited! i know you are all anxious to see this amazing dress. however, you will just have to wait. we also went to this amazing restaurant. Texas de Brazil. it was amazing. they have a 40 selection salad, and then they serve you 12 different types of meat. waiters come around with large sticks of meat. my favorite was the parmisan chicken........yum.
