Death in the Family
I just had the craziest rollercoaster of a weekend. I got a call Friday night from the school phone tree to announce that our dear english teacher passed away that morning. He suffered from a pinched nerve that shot pain through his neck, back, and shoulders for the past month. It turned out my prep buddy had an aggressive form of cancer which claimed his life. He was undiagnosed until his autopsy. This specific form of cancer has an average of only 300 cases in the United States each year. Monday consisted of his wake and Tuesday his funeral.
