Since my last post, i've been a very busy girl. I got my wisdom teeth pulled last monday. The recovery went really well. I had no swelling or bruising and very little pain! My jaw is still a little sore, and i'm getting headaches very easily. But i'm back to eating real food! No more pudding or applesause!!!!
Then last Thursday, RIOT went on our annual camp out. We drove 7 hours in a fifteen passenger van with 6 middle school girls and three adults (Mike, Leeanne, and me). We set up camp at Camp Sandusky and got really wet by a 10 minute thunderstorm. However, we still did the camp fire and smores! Friday we went to CEDAR POINT!!!! We spend the whole day at the camp from 10 am to 10 pm. I stayed with a group of four girls for the majority of the day. We went on every large roller coaster. My personal favorites: Millennium Force, Raptor, and the new Top Thrill Dragster.
Reaching a stratospheric 420 feet tall and topping out at an unheard of speed of 120 mph, this new steel screamer (Top Thrill Dragster) helped Cedar Point reclaim the title of owning the tallest and fastest roller coaster in the universe. The train moves into a "starting line" position, where it is launched forward, reaching 120 mph in approximately four seconds. The train then zooms straight up the 420-foot-tall hill on track that rotates 90 degrees, crests the coaster's apex and then free falls back to Earth. But hold on, this isn't your father's roller coaster. As the train races 400 feet to the ground, the track twists an unbelievable 270 degrees – what a rush!
We returned home Saturday night around 7 pm. We were all exhausted and ready for bed. It was a great trip!
